Created by the architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of SANAA and situated in the heart of the EPFL campus, the Rolex Learning Center is a truly unique place.

The building is dedicated to knowledge and learning, is an international cultural hub and provides an ideal space for informal gatherings with its cafés and restaurant. The building provides over 20,000 m2 for students, researchers and the general public alike to enjoy and discover.

An extensive celebration program

To celebrate this anniversary, the RLC will house a series of exceptional events wich has started with an opening ceremony on 25th May 2021.

These events will place architecture at the forefront, with an exhibition of the models presented during the international call for projects and a series of public conferences from internationally-renowned architects. These conferences will tackle societal and current issues and allow the invited architects to compare their experiences to those of experts from other fields (authors, actors, producers, athletes, etc.).

Do not miss this unique opportunity to discover or rediscover this innovative building, with its slopes and terraces curving around interior patios, without forgetting the almost invisible pillars which support the curved roof, a structure which required the use of unprecedented building methods.
